Alef letter

Do you need to know the Arabic alphabet first (so you know which numbers and letters to use), it’s a relatively easy system to learn,  Plus you have the freedom to write whatever letters you want – as long as it sounds like the original Arabic word.

There is a rule to consider when you learn Franco Arab:

Arabic letters which have no equivalent in Latin are instead represented by numbers.
